TYPES OF PLANTS
Plants can be classified by their STEM or by their LEAVES.
According to the stem we can see three types:
TREES have a thick, woody stem called a trunk. The branches grow up from the trunk, high above the ground.
BUSHES have a woody stem but not a trunk. The branches grow near the ground.
GRASSES have a flexible, green stem.
It is time to sing a rap!. Are
you ready?.
Plants can be also classified by their LEAVES into two groups:
DECIDUOUS PLANTS lose all their leaves in autumn. Oak trees are decidious and rose bush, for example.
EVERGREEN PLANTS produce leaves all year round. Pine trees are evergreen.
Now, listen and learn this song!.
